Description
As a first build I kinda just pressed the first parts on pcpartpicker and then matched everything together. Good for an average gamer but could be used for work but I would add a hard drive. Lights are good and Corsair has some good light control. only problem is the monitor as i put in the review.
Part Reviews
CPU
its a good budget friendly CPU that can play most games fairly well
CPU Cooler
It's a nice cooler, but it's now banned in America. It keeps temps low though.
Motherboard
its a good motherboard, you just cant use icue and mystic lighting together with the corsair hubs. if you want to control both your gonna have use fan and rgb splitters.
Memory
right in the sweet spot for speed and cl18 is perfect for gaming. I would even say that 16 gigs would be just fine for gaming but i do some work so i decided to go for the 32 gig.
Storage
good SSD that's surprisingly cheap. maybe a little slow but it gets the job done.
Video Card
I think the 40 series is VERY over priced, but man they sure are fast. this 4070 was a good leap from my old 3060 ti.
Case
its a nice spacious case that was really easy to cable manage
Power Supply
I've never had any problems with it.
Case Fan
nice fans that are easy to control off of icue.
Monitor
Good monitor, maybe over priced but the colors seem to be very accurate for a non-oled display. it does seem to have a lot of ghosting when at low fps though.
Monitor
I'm not sure I would buy this again, 1080p just should not be used for 27 inches.
Mouse
This thing feels like you're holding a feather, it's insane.
