Picked this up as a refurbished card for a price I couldn't pass up. Uses a standard 8-pin PCIe power connector. Plastic shroud but has a metal backplate. Compact in length and is a two-slot card. Great for playing at 1440p. Undervolted so the temps stay in the high 50s and 145W max power draw.

The fact that this card has the performance that it has, which is about equivalent to a 3080-12GB, at about half the wattage, is crazy. I would have wished for 16GB on this card, considering the 7800XT has 16 :/ But still, totally worth.

Pretty good performance. There really aren't any good current gen GPUs but i would just get the 4070 super instead of this.

A beast of a card. It runs everything I've used at max settings and has never gone above 60 degrees!

I'm coming from console, and my current monitor is 1080p 60Hz, so I'm not really in any position to judge the graphical performance of this card. I wanted something that would be suitable to use for 1440p when I upgrade the display, and my hope is that this card will be able to keep up with new releases several years down the line, perhaps using DLSS if necessary.

It doesn't come with any kind of anti-sag bracket, so I bought an adjustable pole support on Amazon for $15.

The RTX 4070 is such a great card for 1080p/1440p (and even 4k) gaming. Prices have come down with the 4000 series Super refreshes and I think that makes them even more enticing - especially if you can find them under $550 (which is happening more and more)

This Gigabyte card is awesome. I've personally got a Zotac Twin Edge 4070 and the sound profile is a night and day difference. This Gigabyte card is extremely quite even when the fans spin up to 70%. I had to putz around with my Zotac fan curve to never have it spin passed 60% due to how insanely loud those fans get.

Finally, the cooling solution does work phenomenally well. The card has never exceeded the mid 60s, and it consistently runs about 750 MHz over stock clock speeds (1,920MHz -> 2,668MHz)

Has worked very well - runs quietly without issue. Thinner profile than usual 4070s allows me to fit a better cooler in my Fractal Terra.
