One of the sticks died within a year and a half of use. I don't think this is an actual representation of their lifespan, but considering the price of these things and the fact that they are Samsung B-Die chips, it's pretty disappointing

The Gskill software doesn't detect the installed memory. So I'm stuck with using Polychrome to control the lighting, which is buggy and limited in options.

from completed build First build for gaming and light editing
got unlucky, my sticks crash at 3600mhz. They run hot also at 48C so a dedicated cooler keeps them below 40C. sticks are stable at 3466mhz

Though I was getting Samsung B dies turns out these are Hynix D-die. Couldn't get any better performance out of these than what the stock is but for the amount of ram you get and the price it's a good set.
