Great for gaming. The ultrawide monitor is absolutely beautiful in games that take advantage of it, like rocket league. All of the rgb elements except the cooler can be controlled and synced in Asus Aura, which is nice. The RAM and Motherboard actually have several different individually controlled lighting zones, which allow for a lot of really cool effects. While the M.2 SSD is nice because it takes up very little space, in a build where every part is either black or RGB, the SSD with a green circuit board and white sticker sticks out like a sore thumb. I ended up getting a mobile (2.5") WD Black hard drive. Essentially the same thing but smaller and much, much quieter. Between the smaller hard drive and the "Eco Mode" switch on the power supply, this ended up being a very quiet pc. The power supply is modular, which made cable management easier. The P400 is a beautiful case and it had many holes for routing cables. The Kraken x62 is definitely my favorite part of the build, it is absolutely beautiful, the pump is fairly quiet and it works very well. I was able to get a stable 4.9 Ghz overclock with it, but I believe I can push it to the magic 5.0. The STRIX 1080 works great, it doesn't even break a sweat pushing all the pixels on my triple monitor setup. My only complaint with it is that the color representation on the RGB leds is terrible. The color is much bluer than it should be, in order to get it to match the other components, I had to set everything to blue and then the gpu to yellow-green. Also the 1080 came with a free copy of For Honor so that was cool. Other than the poor color representation on the gpu and the ugly green of the ssd, everything else in the build was exactly as planned and runs great. I used GPU Tweak II to get a little extra oomph out of the 1080, as suggested but didn't see any noticeable increase in performance.
