Cheers for the response. I'll look into it and once i've got my head around the in's and outs i'll give it a shot.
Price wasn't an option til; literally the day i was picking the parts (was going to get a 1440p monitor and two 980's) my mates decided to plan a trip away for the holidays, thought accomodation and booze would be the better option :)
In a couple of years down the track, when i replace the GPU with the latest and greatest i'll probably tidy the insides and look into overclocking but at the moment it runs like a dream. Would over clocking really give me much of a performance boost, aka is it worth the time and effort at this point?
Spoke to a mate the day i got it and said basically the same thing everyone here is with the 4790. but i'm happy with it, and the longer it lasts the better.
When it came to the cpu I didn't really know what to get. So I panicked and chose one of the latest.
Was originally gonna go for a budget build and do it all myself, but my love of shiny things became too much to bear. And because of the amount I spent I really didn't want to screw anything up. Next time though ;)
