No idea, the car was only there (outside of a motoring shop) for a few days, and this was quite a while back so I don't really remember.

It's not a bad PSU overall, been using Corsair PSUs in all my builds so far.

Did custom cables anyways, might as well braid them.

Planning to do something similar here, was the BIOS flashing to mix Z170 with Kaby Lake fairly straightforward?

If you think 16gb ram is overkill, you haven't seen a tab addiction ;)

I do agree that it's not the most cost-effective build, and there would be things that I'd change if I were to do a build with a more fixed budget. Had other priorities though ;)

Mostly just used the red sleeving because I had it on hand.

I was looking at the Shift X as a possibility, it's a pretty sweet case. Hope you have fun in it :)

Yep, drilled two holes in the middle wall to secure it

Yeah, I knew it was 3.3V but had no clue it's unnecessary. Could be useful for SATA-connected accessories.

Just found it interesting that it's missing the 5th pin, guess SSDs don't need that voltage?

That 4-wire SATA power cable is intriguing...not in a bad way though :)

I'll try to connect with the owner and see if I can run some benchmarks at some point. What specifically would you like to see?

Those cars aren't mine ;) I am quite jealous of the owners of those cars, that GT-R is pretty mental :)

Thanks mate, definitely will if my wallet will allow it!

I was actually running the power from an inverter in my car hooked up to a 50 foot extension cord. Just a little fun fact :)

Neither are mine, haha. Those are at an exotic car shop across the street from my gym. On this note, I might add a paragraph about the photos in the original build description ;)

Yeah I agree, the blue drive does stand out a bit. I've done a bit of research and found some paint that I'll probably use for future hard drives, since my main concern was heat dissipation (didn't want to enclose the hard drive in some heat-insulating material, that would kill the hard drive's longevity).
