Hey there! I use Noctua NA-SYC1 Accessory 4-pin Y-Cables for PWM Fans, they're about $8 on Amazon US. But my NH-U9S cooler already came with one set.

I'm still using it, yes. Although swapped out some parts. And I do not plan on switching to a different case, it's a keeper!

Awesome build! Curious but how did you get the O5SX for $135? That's a great deal at that price!

And also, would you have pics of the rear/backside? Thanks in advance!

Edit: I just read your comment about the O5 price when I scrolled down :)

Best looking PC-010 build out there +1

Now I understand there are 2 HDD/SSD shelves in the backside. What are the combinations possible combinations of the drives to successfully maximize the space? (I'm guessing 2 x 3.5" & 3 x 2.5"?)

Hey! Thanks! the AIO pump was too noisy for my taste because it sat on my desk in front of me, and I preferred the portability with all air cooling.

I'm studying Urban Architecture and getting my Masters :D What are you applying for here?

Hey there!

Ensourced is backlogged, but would a stubby kit + extension cables work from your experience?

He's the best in the business and recently has always been up to his neck with orders. Yes, I use a stubby kit + extension cable for my current setup. Stubby + extension gets a better "curve" or bend of the 24-pin, IMO, but the downside is it's a little bulkier with all the connectors.

And second, would you recommend the Vardar fans the most for bottom intake?

I would actually go for brown Noctua's. They are better overall than the Vardars, but the Vardars look better. You can also look into a fan curve in BIOS with your Corsair ML's, which should save you some cash.

Hey, the SFX-L is a tight fit, I just moved the cables at a sharp angle towards the back/right side panel area. I have since switched to an SFX, so it can play nicer with the GPU instead of bumping into it. My custom cables are normal size at the ends, but I have since redone the cables myself and made them shorter for a better fit.

I got the decals from an Etsy vendor, they can custom make you decals for around $5-$10. You can probably have one custom made if you look around Etsy or a local CNC metal shop for badges.

Hey! Looking back, I wouldn't recommend plastidipping the RVZ02 because the panels rub and scuff onto the main frame too much, which scuffs off the plastidip. I'm not sure but you probably don't need to scuff the case before spray painting. The plastidip is really sensitive to rubbing, and comes off easily when I remove or put on the side panels.

Hey, hmm are those for extensions? I would probably recommend full replacement cables in the NCASE to reduce clutter as opposed to extensions, once you have everything up and running.

Very nice! I absolutely love this case, I'm sure you will like it too if you understand the limitations of the Ncase.

The length of my sleeved extensions are 30cm each. For full PSU cable replacements, I would opt for 25cm-30cm each. 30cm seems pretty long but is on the safe side. Also, the lengths depend on the motherboard placement, so try measuring the length between the sockets to your motherboard and PSU. I find that the GPU/PCI-E cables with a length of 25cm is perfect. (look up @milkyesquire on Instagram, his GPU/PCI-E length is 25cm long)

You would need a 24-pin ATX, an 8-pin CPU/EPS, and then your GPU/PCI-E depending on which card.

Where will you have your cables done? What PSU will you use?

The Vardars are quiet, I never notice them. I've used the Noctua NF-F12 Industrial 2K RPMs, and the Noctua's are noticeably louder than the Vardars but the temps are pretty much the same. (Personally, I prefer the Noctua's so I'm using them now on the bottom intakes).

No problem! Glad answer your questions. The Aero 1080 is a great bang-for-the-buck card, hard to find those plastic-blowers in stock :(

Do you remember where you ordered your custom cables from?

Yes, I got them from Ensourced.net. They are 30cm long each in White, Imperial Red, Black and Charcoal Gray. Awesome price for the extensions ($50), but next time I will go for full replacement cables to reduce the clutter.

It's a sweet case, I would highly recommend it! Cheers :)

Hey! Thank you for the kind words.

I use the M1 more, and my SO uses the White Raven. The M1 has cooler temps, because I am able to put more fans in it. (The bottom, white intake fans help bring in fresh air). The Raven is pretty limited in cooling options and runs a bit hotter.

Thanks! The one's I'm using for the main connectors are 30cm extensions, which I find a bit too long for extensions. You might want to try 25cm or 30cm for Full Length Replacements though.

Thanks! I'm actually not sure, because the MSI 980 Ti 6G has a tall PCB, and it might block closing the side panel. I hear that the reference PCB is recommended for the M1.

Hey! Thank you for the kind words! It's no problem and thank you for writing to me about your build. I love hearing about other's builds in similar cases.

You will very much enjoy the case once it's completed. I'm glad you solved the RAM problem, and yes I believe the Impact layout is similar across all generations thus far. I have since given my Raven to my girlfriend to use, and right now I am using the NCASE M1. Both are lovely cases!

I truly believe that Mini-ITX will become more popular in the future as more and more people realize that they don't need a gigantic tower to fully enjoy using their PC. Thermal design is improving and components are becoming more energy efficient. I'm a big advocate of small form factor builds, I love the unobtrusive and minimalistic designs of such machines!

Make sure to publish your build when it's completed, I am very interested in seeing the complete build and setup!

Thanks again and have a good one!
