i was wondering the same thing...... the air is going in and going, where? the gpu blocks the air coming in.
+1 for building for the future
this needs to be featured.... very nice build.
I might have to try it out
18-19c..... thats pretty damn good!
how is the cpu cooler??? im a big fan of cryorig but i haven't seen anyone run that cooler.
Nice build! I have the same case, i cant get enough of it.
i did the same thing. ordered my 980ti, then the new stuff dropped.... and so did my soul.
nice! my previous build was with a fx6300 and a g43 mobo. one thing to keep in mind with that board is air flow. i dont think you will have that problem with that case but i was getting real high temps across my mobo if i turned the fans down. its just something to keep a eye on. +1
i had no issues fitting the h100i v2 up top. i am not sure if the dimensions between the two differ.
outstanding build! this build needs to be featured! a lot ppl have really nice builds but dont put up enough pictures to cover the entire scope of the build. lighting, cable management, attention to detail. +1
not yet. win it for ed!
very nice build. i recently finished my build with the same case...... freaking amazing case!!!! i still have my optical drives in and the air flow is still outstanding! i do not understand why more ppl dont have these cases.
+1 for the Flyers. nice build
+1 for the cat. are you going to water cool???
i really like how a good portion of the build is behind the mobo. really cool. and i do believe that the corsair h100i is the cooler of choice for us skylake ppl. it can be a bit loud with the stock fans. im looking into something a little quieter but still efficient.
put a hyper evo 212 on that bad boy. i cringed a little when i saw the amd cooler.
nice cable management. super clean. +1
i removed the factory paste that corsair had on it and put artic silver 5. after much research, the temps seem to be normal.
what are your temps like with that push/pull set up?
i got a little bit of flickering about 20 secs in. but nothing serious. i had to really stare at it to notice.
that is very reassuring. my last build was a fx6300. apples and oranges, i know. but if i got anywhere near 80c with my amd build, it would lock up. so im a little cautious with temps.
im going to try to dial back the voltage a hair and see if it stays stable. i know im nit picking about this, for the simple fact, i will never push my cpu as hard as prime95 can push it.
it looks like your cpu cooler is about to be beamed up.
right now, evga has it set to 1.289v. ill take a look at the video and see what advice they have.
it actually peaked at 87c then backed off and stayed in the 80s before i lost my nerve and cut it off. running xtu, it gets up to 67c and thats it, 70c if it is a little warm out. im going to run prime again and get a average.
every cpu is different, unfortunately.
I ran mine to 4.5 with a hyper evo. I had to adjust the vcore yo keep it stable. Push pull at 100% when it got to about 50c.
the case is well worth it tho. damn near tool free. so many different configs and so much space.
i am not using the stock fans. im using a 120mm jet flo in the back and two 140 cryorig fans in the front. the two fans on the corsair h110i v2 are the only stock ones.
i dont really know anything about there stock fans that came with the case because i removed them right away. they might be good. idk.
beautiful pc! clean, simple, with just a little flair.
nice job! if you are comfortable with going a little hotter then 54°c then u can still bump the cpu up to around 4.5ghz. the hyper evo will do a good job at keeping it cool.
i use the external for mass storage. n i didnt even think about taking it outside for pics. thanks
you def might be on the side of luck. 66°c at 100% load. I've read that expect to see high 70's when you start to push them.
I have not tried it yet but that will be my next upgrade. I heard they are insanely fast!
yeah. i think im ok at 4.5.
oh ok. good to know. i also been looking at the asrock extreme 9. but read something about crazy temps on the north bridge.....
Very nice amd build. I'm in the market for a motherboard, for my upcoming build. How is the formula z??? I'm up in the air between the formula, msi990fx gaming and the sabertooth.
Nice build! Did you do any benchmarks yet??? Also, you might wanna flip the psu over so its pulling in cooler air and not case air.
Might wanna add some fans. Get some air moving around in there. Nice to see another 6300.
you will get very good temps with the evo 212. i overclocked my 6300 to 4.45 and max temps are about 60°c running occt.
very nice build! even nicer set up!
that is a hellova rig! and there is some serious gaming going on in that living room!!!
very nice! i need that case!
nice build. with the water cooling, what temps are you getting from the cpu???
i suggest getting the rig off the rug. your kinda choking the power supply. overclocking these cpu's are a dream. i have a bottom of line board and can still get a steady 4.53ghz out of it.
