I cringed so hard when I looked at your build...
Should've waited a few more weeks for the price of the 1080 to go down, you could've saved like $300
Watercooling is never simple...lol.
Can I be your little bro
If you had gone with a more simple build (I.E. not watercooled) you could've gotten some better peripherals and even a 5960X or just an X99 but then again I guess that's bit overkill, but I do see that you wanted to watercool and that's just my opinion and I am kind of an idiot lol
Can I have your 960
Pictures are tiny.
Okay, that makes more sense lol.
Why would you go with a 4960X when a 5960X is better and $250 cheaper?
Yes, he said that in the post...
I wish you had gone with a 6600k for around $10 more but oh well...
I agree the 390 is better than the 970 because it is DX12 compatible and has 8GB VRAM (which is a bit overkill but still good) and the 970 only has 3.5GB of VRAM.
How is the 4590 so far? I'm thinking about getting one myself but I'm a bit skeptical.
That monitor is ugh cringe please invest in at least a widescreen XD but otherwise +1
How's the CPU working out? I'm thinking about getting one myself but I can't decide between that or a 4690k. My first reaction would be to get the 4690k but I'm kind of on a budget.
I would've gone with at least a 2TB HDD right off the bat, and gotten a 500GB SSD but it's your build you can do what you want with it. (by the way I'm 14 :D)
Just a 1TB SSD? I mean I'm surprised that you didn't go with with at least a 1TB HDD as well.
You have a lot of computers...
Go with a 1070.
That's a LOT of harddrives... +1
Pascal is nVidia's new GPU architecture, and yes it's the 1080/1070. And the 1080 and 1070 are substantially better than the other GPUs, the 1070 is more powerful than a single Titan X and the 1080 is more powerful than 980ti SLI.
Kewl stuff brah :D
You would get bottlenecks with the FX-6300 and a 970. This build has a great choice of hardware. The i5 is probably the best gaming CPU out there right now, you don't need an i7 for gaming. Plus this build can run any game at 1080p medium-ultra settings out there. The FX-6300 would be a poor choice of a CPU, even though it's cheaper.
Son, clean up your damn room before I get the belt!
jk nice build <3 +1
What kind of gaming do you do? I mean, with a build like this, I'd expect you to be doing 12k across 3 260Hz home-theater size monitors on ultra settings...
Wow! That's insane considering that it's twice as powerful as a Titan X but is half the price!
Is the 1080 really only gonna cost $600?? That's insane.
Nice build. +1 for X99 ;)
Dang dude, chill.
You should've gone with a 4x4 RAM and run it in quad-channel. It works better that way.
Why wouldn't he?
I'll trade you a 5960X 4x TITAN X build for that.
With 2 CPUs like that, I would expect you to have a MUCH better GPU...lol
An 8 year old needs a $4000 PC to play Minecraft? You do realize that a $400-$500 PC would do just fine with Minecraft...
That is one SEXY case!
Was 64GB RAM really necessary?
I have a friend who's steam name is Elysium :P
Very unique! Don't see that i7 much, nor 24GBs RAM...
I wish I knew how to build watercooled PCs...
With such a great CPU I would've expected you to go with a 980ti or maybe even a Titan X...
Nonetheless, it's your PC, build it how you want it :)
it's so cute ermygurd :3
lol minecraft masterrace
Can it render a virtual version of itself that can render a virtual version of it's virtual self that can render a virtual version that was rendered by a virtual version that renders itself's virtual self?
lol I am jelly
