yeah, there are pretty limited options for a 150mm height cooler.
I'm betting on the Cryorig H7 as you suggested and might swap the fan for an RGB one might do the trick.
Thank you for your suggestion :)
Thank you for your time and feedback. Appreciated.
Thank you for our feedback, I got a corsair 280x case and it is known for not having a good air flow, so everytime my 3rd gen cpu boost, my cooler boost like crazy also :(
Hi, Thank you for the recommendations. I will run the CPU on stock and have no plans on overclocking it.
However, those CPU cooler recommendations are more than 150mm in height so it will not fit on my case :(
Nice clean build. How is the fan noise of the CPU cooler? is it "ok" on load or ingame?
Never had a problem with it.
Nice clean build. we have almost the same set-up, how are those CPU temps? both idle and on-load with stock wraith cpu fan?
Hi, Did you update the BIOS for the Asus Board? or does it come with 3000 series ready Bios?
Need to MOD the BitFenix fan which includes drilling a hole in it so that the clip can hang on. but found a way to hide those ugly holes. xD
Thanks dude :)
I know that is just too much, but thank you for even thinking like it :) I appreciate it.
Go for RTX 2070 if you have the money, the only thing that's holding me from getting it is my wallet :(
Yeah if you don't care about aesthetics and just pure performance, you can.
Thank you good sir.
Thank you. This is H400 btw because H500 is ATX form factor, and I agree with you that H500 is one of the best white case, If I have an ATX build I woud've got the H500.
Oh NO. Didn't think of dust problems during my planning :(
Yeah, it was the dumbest thing that could happen. But because I was too excited to build the PC, I forgot it. LOL
Thank you, and that 4 programs is just annoying imo. That's why I chose Asus Mobo because of their Aura software.
Please tell me if it works for you. thanks
I would also like to share. I saw a thread and a video on youtube that at the backside of the Gigabyte GPU, there's an RGB Pin header which you can remove from GPU PCB without even opening the card, and you can just simply use some cables or extra wires to connect those pins to the Asus motherboard, so in that way, you can control all your RGB in one software which is Aurasync. I'm gonna try it when I receive my Gigabyte GPU.
Hi, how do you control the RGB's on this badboy? you have 2 softwares? AuraSync + RGB fusion for the GPU? did you have any issue when those 2 are running? Thanks
did you encounter any problem or conflict of this two softwares?
Thank you, but I found a thread yesterday, and they said that at the back of the Gigabyte GPU you can see the RGB pin that control the RGB for that GPU, you can disconnect it without dismantling the GPU and use same cables or something to connect it to RGB pin headers on the MOBO.
Nice, glad you are happy with the rainbow effects. But in-case you want to sync your Gigabyte GPU to the Asus Mobo or icue, I found an interesting mod yesterday that doesn't require opening the GPU. at the back of the Gigabyte card, they said you can see a 4pin RGB cables/pin that control the lighting on the GPU "GIGABYTE" text. So if you could reach out on that, remove it from the PCB and use a wire or something to connect it to the standard 4 pin 12VRGB in your Mobo or Icue. I'm gonna try it once my new GPU arrive :D
I am now in the process of returning the Zotac and i'll be getting the white gigabyte.
One question, You have MSI Mobo, Gigabyte GPU , how do you control the lightings of those? 2 separate software? Mystic light or RGB fusion? or you have other software?
I have Asus Mobo :(
Hi, Gigabyte just released a white version of that RTX 2060 and I wanted to get it xD.
I have a question, does AuraSync detect the GPU lightings? or do I need to use separate softwares for GPU and MOBO. thanks in advance.
Hello good sir, how do you control the RGB lighting on the GPU? By AuraSync? or RGB Fusion?
Did you use 2 separate softwares just to control those? thank you
I have BAD news for you. Gigabyte released a white version of that RTX 2060. Don't feel bad, me also want to have that white one as I have a white themed build. I got the Zotac Amp RTX :(
I was so sad seeing the white RTX 2060 on amazon today as I already ordered the Zotac AMP RTX. Now I'm planning to change it with this new White RTX from Gigabyte. Just 1 question please, does the GPU sync with AuraSync software? or you use RGB Fusion for GPU?
Excuse me good sir, I'm also new to PC building and wanted to learn more about it. As for the SSDs. As for as I know (from youtube and other threads) is that m.2 NVMe are way faster than normal sata SSD. 2.5" sata SSD can have 500+- Mb/s read and write while the can have NVMe 3500+- Mb/s (970 EVOplus) that is like 7x faster? IDK. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you.
Hi, Thank you for the suggestions and the recommendations. I replied late as I was busy building the new PC. I already got the PC built yesterday (just waiting for the RGB fans to arrive from aliexpress for it to be called "complete") I bought the H400 as I already and it looks pretty good with the B360-g mATX mobo in it. and as for the GPU I went with the Zotac RTX 2060 AMP as there is a big difference from 1660TI and 2060 and also wanna try ray-trace games but I won't make it as my default, just want to try xD. Thank you.
So i'll take it as a NO then? :( thanks btw :)
Congrats man, such a good looking card :) . also enjoy the PC .
Thanks for the tips :)
Nice tight build. Please tell me where did you get the RTX 2060 FE. I can't seem to find it in NVIDIA website
Nice build. Did you buy the RTX 2060 FE at nvidia? I can't seem to find it in Nvidia website.
Thank you :)
Are those limited editions only? as I can't see it in Nvidia website now. RTX2070 and RTX2080 they are still selling it. I don't know why they don't have the 2060
Why are you not using your RGBs on GAMMAXX GT? -1 on that :(
JK :) wanting to build the same specs. Great neat build
Thank you for the recommendation, but yes I already tried when I gave my PC to my friend to help me troubleshoot. Even just opening folders and doing nothing, the screen just flickers and boom, application closed :(
Make a costum PSU Shroud using acrylic. It's very easy and there's a ton of tutorials in Youtube, you can check it out :)
Nice Build sir. How was the B450 motherboard? do you know what is the major differences between B450 and X470? Does it affect the performance?
Hi do you prefer the X470 mobo rather than the B450? Do you know what is the major differences and does it affect the PC performance?
Hi, how was the B450 Mobo for that 2600X. do you know what is the big difference between the B450 and the X470? Does it affect the performance? thanks
Nice build man. Just one question since I'm opting for this 2600X CPU. Is it okay to pair it with a B450 MOBO? What are the major differences with the X470? Does it affect the performance? thanks in advance.
Hey there. Haven't tried to build a PC yet but I've seen 1 million times youtube tutorial on how to build it xD. Though mine is coming, hopefuly. Try checking this tutorial from TECHSOURCE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZaFqY8UF6I @8:57 he mentioned something about the connection when using M.2 SSD. Give it a shot and please tell me if it works, cause I'm planning to do the same.
