Yup! Two actually! One for a friend and another for a client!
It really has! I've been getting my sneak peaks from Facebook bro!
Nice work Colin keep it up brother! -Taha
Like a champ! I'm going to Crossfire soon and I'm certain it'll take that too!
Boy, that GPU is Sagging!!
Remove the SSD, if it's not essential, and you need to shave a few dollars off your build, remove the SSD, also the case fans, do you really need them? The Case is a bit pricey and in my opinion doesn't look very aesthetically pleasing...
Hi, which noctua fan did you use for exhaust? I just bought some and I was wondering if you were also using the nf-f12's for exhaust?
His PSU, may not be able to run it... So gotta upgrade that too!
Ah the "X" thermal paste method! I've never seen anyone actually doing it!
The stock intel coolers are actually above average! Much better than the horrendous AMD ones...
It looks beautiful! But I'm wondering why you got an aftermarket cooler when you can't overclock?
The rationale behind his parts are really annoying me... OP did you not consult anyone for advice first?
How did you get a 970 in July 2014?
Better to have more than less, as I always say...
You can't bottle neck with an i5 4690K and a 760...
If this build is for gaming, then I would have suggested the i5 4690K instead, so you have more money to get a better Video Card, the 970 for example.
that's because gaming PCs don't need after market coolers, unless you're playing CPU intensive games which will mean your cooler works harder to cool your CPU which is being used more. If the maximum usage of your CPU is 50% max on games, why get an aftermarket cooler? He also has a regular 4690, he can't OC so he won't need a better cooler.
That is. SO BADASS!
You can do that? How?
58.0 degrees idle; is worrying...
With this budget, there's no SSD...
With the vinyl and all?
How much did it cost??
Actually; my friend is doing the same thing; he bought all of his parts which were terrible in comparison to what his original plan is. I disapprove; just because your wasting money imo.
Why did you get a 660? You could have easily cut down a little bit on other parts to get a balanced GPU...
That USB 3.0 Header is so poorly positioned; it's bugging me.
Gonna also need a aftermarket cooler, stock coolers literally meet the bare minimum of heat output that the CPU outputs! I recommend a H100i, or Noctua based coolers or if you're on a budget a Hyper 212 Evo
4790... custom loop. No oc. shoot me pls.
Because I have the exact same one! LOL, A pain to find these in the UK, I want another so I can dual monitor.
Is that a Samsung SA300 24 inch monitor?
Hi, how was building in this case?
is it only me that noticed ALL OF HIS COMPONENTS WERE ON THE CARPET????
hi 5 Team 450D!
Why the really old CPU?
If you payed that price for the 290, you may as well have gone 970.
fair enough :)
The h100i tube are the wrong way! My OCD senses are tingling.
Fake build, parts say one thing. Picture says another.
Should have mentioned, that if you have to install a back mobo mount, do it before you put the motherboard into the case.
It was a pleasure, however not enough back panel space and CPU cable was hard to connect through back other than that it was great! Wish I had gone 750D though.
Is that 970 on the rug?????
Another Fake build, just an excuse to promote your website.
I understand, but you could always upgrade man... if your budget was higher sure, but with the money I'd rather possible go 290 or 280x
Personally, I would have dropped the SSD, gone with a HDD, and spent more on the CPU or GPU.
Remove your TUF Inside sticker cover... it's supposed to be removed.
Thanks man :)
As stated it's a good build, however he could have done better. Those components aren't the end of the world.
Actually that's a good build for $3k, could be better however.
"Fly you fools!"
Came here for pictures, was not disappointed.
