Nice rig. What is the LED wall thing, and where did you get the anime figure?

+1 This is what a featured build should look like. The quality of pictures are also top notch and should set the bar for all others. So many featured builds only include 10+ pictures of the same shot and it's so annoying that there's no variety. Love your custom acrylic and vinyl wrapping as well as the 3D printed parts.

I really like the build, but can you post some more pics? It's basically 17 pics of the same shot.

Love your setup - desk, pc, everything... Question: are the riser legs secured to the countertop or is it free standing?

Nice build. You have 13 pictures, but in essence they are all showing the same shot... Upload some other pics...

Hey,

Yes i did watch that video prior to setting up my Samsung 950. I do not really know the temps on it though as its not detected as a hardware item. I read that the BIOS programmers need to update the way that the device is seen.

One thing about possible temps is that the graphics card sits directly on top of the M.2 slot. I chose my graphics card because the fans help move air down over it instead of out the back.

I believe any motherboard should work as long as they indicate that there is NVME support in a BIOS upgrade.

You are correct Dragon. the 4 fans that are on the side panel run at full RPM pulling air in directly over the video card and CPU Cooler. the fans on the top, bottom and rear pull air out.

There are a total of 15 fans inside the case (including the 3 of the video card and the one in the PSU). The PC is really quiet. I would say it has more than adequate airflow for cooling... :-)

It was quite a challenge to get the OS onto the M.2 as its not even detected in BIOS. You basically have to turn off the SATA controller and turn off all Legacy support and strictly boot using UEFI. Windows 8.1 saw it, but the upgrade to Windows 10 always failed. I had to purchase and do a fresh install of Windows 10 to get it to work. after all drivers were loaded i then turned on my SATA controller.

As far as the PSU, I don't really know why i picked the BFG in 2009, but i have never even come close to even using half the wattage. I strictly only had one graphics card inserted. i did read somewhere, i don't know how true, but if you have a PSU with a lot more wattage than you need it runs ultra efficiently.

I have the PC, a monitor, and about 5 external HD's along with 2 routers and a Verizon network extender connected to a battery backup. While running Prime 95, the battery backup program was reporting only 322 watts used.
