Certainly not as clean as a lot of the builds on here, but some of these guys have way too much skill!
I'm proud of it none the less :)
Yeh an easier to run monitor setup would have definitely worked for this, but I'll have a 2080Ti spare mid year which will run this easily.
@ 50hz :(
Dirt rally 1+2 I have, I just haven't started playing them yet for more than a few minutes. The others I will have to check out tho.
I did try rfactor2 very briefly, but I really didn't give out a chance. I tried it at the same time i got assetto corsa and decided to stick with that one instead. AC feels way more polished out our the box so was easier to get in to, especially after adding all the modded content. Rfactor2 is very well respected though as having incredible handling, so I really need to give it another shot at some point.
Beamng has always looked interesting to, but again I haven't given it a chance. I got about add far as setting up my wheel with it, not liking how it felt, then giving up.
I haven't even looked in to Live For Speed, tho I have seen it brought up by others on forums. Thanks for the suggestions
Thanks! I would love to get a HOTAS setup to add to this one day. If I start to get bored with driving sims I will definitely look I to it.
yeh it will, but this is just my old pc for running my racing games such as Assetto Corsa, Dirt, Forza, F1 2018, etc. My 1080Ti is probably more than enough to push the 3x 3440x1440 monitors at 100hz in the games that support the triple monitor setup, but i need a new card with 3 DP connectors on it. A 2070 Super should give me similar performance to the 1080Ti, but ill probably just go for something faster and be done with it. The 2600k is overclocked to 4.6ghz, so its more than capable of running all the games im intending to run on it. Im currently building a new PC to use as my main system, but im just waiting on the 3950x to come out so i can decide between that cpu or the 3900x.
