That's a pretty solid build.
The only component that I would change is the motherboard, but that would depend on two things. Do you plan on aggressively overclocking your Ryzen 7 2700X processor and is running a SLI setup in your future plans? If not, then you're good.
I know right. <3
None so far.
I know right. DDR4 has opened the path to having crazy amounts of memory on a single system.
That's how fast technology advances. lol
Yeah, the S340 Elite comes with two normal, black 120mm fans. Yes, you can control the LEDs through NZXT's CAM software.
You rock! Thank you!
Thanks for the feedback. :)
They are performing great! Still going strong!
Only the ones that were included with the HUE+. I didn0t get any additional LED strips.
It was a tight fit but I connected it just fine. =)
There are two ways to tackle the problem. You can get Micro-USB to USB cables and/or Mini-USB to USB cables to connect the Kraken AIOs and HUE+ directly into a normal USB port. The other way is to buy one of those USB HUBs. Actually NZXT sells their own HUB as well.
Thank you. :)
It's crazy, right? xD
That's an excellent question. :O
Yeah, EKWB stopped making but you're in luck. They should be launching their new and upgraed AIOs soon! ;)
The pricing has been going up and down.
Since I wasn't aiming for an aggresive overclock, I went with the X42.
Lol, no. I took them.
RGB makes everything so pretty. :)
Thanks for the view and support! :)
Kinda sounds like one, doesn't it? lol
It all has to do with timing really. I had already bought most of the components before Ryzen came out. But who knows. Maybe I'll bite the bullet and do a Ryzen build soon. ;)
The X42 holds its own as long as you don't go crazy and overclock the CPU too much. lol
Ryzen was a good comeback for AMD but I think it still has a long way to go. Maybe I'll try the next AMD chipset.
Some things never change. lol
Thank you for the vote. :)
It should be able to handle 4K with reasonable graphic settings.
Thanks for the view!
It's pretty easy to build inside NZXT cases.
Thanks for the vote!
Yes, sir. All day long! ;)
You're well equipped.
The Titans came out after I bought the GTX 1080s. lol
We all knew that it was inevitable. ;)
Can't speak for all components but as far as CPUs go, Micro Center have the best prices. In-store pickup only though and limited to 1 per household. lol
