Plain board, but quality. All the features you'd expect except USB-C.

I wanted to spend a little more on the motherboard and for future upgrades and am pleased with it so far. Fairly easy to update as MSI is know for that.

I'm glad I went for this over the Tomahawk as I prefer the sleek look of this, but it still keeps the good VRM heatsinks. No complaints so far

Quality reliable board that doesn't break the bank. M2 screw was in tight, needed pliers to remove but otherwise a breeze to use. Loads of fan headers so you won't need a splitter

For the price, this board has everything I needed. It's a lot browner in person, but not crazy brown enough to be noticeable once your PC is built.

from completed build The mis-match build

A little annoyed with the placement of the USB 3 header, my cable is now bent and on an odd angle, but the motherboard itself is great. Bit pricey but good cooling from what I know, and it's not ugly or anything.

The parts are REALLY easy to build into this motherboard. The description and manuals both online and printed in the packaging are really helpful and explain everything very good. It works fine, I am very pleased with it.

    from completed build Mid Rig - Ryzen 5 2600, RX580 8GB

Has substantial heat sinks that cheaper motherboards skimp on. That "MAX" on MSI boards means the larger BIOS chip already prepped for 3rd gen CPUs. "MAX" is generally about a $10 premium with the MSI boards.
