This thing was a shot in the dark. After reading Amazon reviews I was a little timid on using it for a build that will spend most of it's life running. But the real worry is the reliability issues. Apparently people have had a whole lot of troubles with keeping it running. So far I have no complaints other than the way out of date BIOS and limited fan headers. Or should I say single fan header. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't crap out like others.

BIOS sucks. Fan "control" sucks. But it was cheap and works. I am just spoiled by my Asus UEFI.

The motherboard I chose was the GA-78-LMT-USB3 from Gigabyte, I can honestly say I chose this motherboard for the price and nothing else (I was a noob at the time so I didn't look at the important stuff). After getting the motherboard I quickly realised that I made a mistake; the motherboard supports SATA 2 not SATA3, which is quite disappointing and it uses traditional BIOS not UEFI - which made overclocking a pain. The good thing about this motherboard is that it supports up to 32GB of DDR3 RAM and features ATI Radeon HD 3000 series graphics, so I guess it's okay for a budget motherboard.

The more I use this, the less I want it. Having a GTX 960 covers my PCI 1x slot, which I would have liked to use for a wireless adapter. I've had problems getting some of the rear I/O to work. But you get what you pay for. Definitely find something that is more reliable.

Dirt cheap AM3+ motherboard, a blessing and a curse.
At $50, this is one of the cheapest you can buy. It should support a 95W AM3 or AM3+ processor comfortably, and in my case I could overclock mine pretty far with very little issue, though I think that's because my chip is a freakin' champ.
The BIOS is straight out of 1984. Very visually unappealing, and I sometimes have trouble finding things in those uber-bright lists, but it works.
The 4+1 phase VRM is a little skimpy for overclocking, but good cooling will help you get there easily. My voltage was low enough to prevent VRM throttling (I originally had it set higher than necessary, it did throttle there) Zip-tying a small fan on to them will help, but it will make some noise.
This board has only two fan headers, both are 4-pin. I had to buy a PSU peripheral-to-4pin fan hub, which I didn't realize will make fans run at max RPMs. It's best to buy a fan controller of some sort, but that will be more expensive, expensive enough to warrant buying a different motherboard that will probably have enough headers anyway.
Somehow, about 3 months after use, one pin dead center in the USB3.0 header bent itself out of shape. The others are fine but I have no USB 3.0.

An alright motherboard in general. Haven't tried overclocking on it, so I can't add anything about that. Only has 2 fan mounts (1 for the CPU and 1 for an additional fan) which isn't good. I got this as an emergency replacement after my old one died on me and it does what it's supposed to do. Good for general tasks; not so great for more intensive purposes.
