Cheapest RX 580 8G when I bought it. It has amazing performance for 1080p. All the games I play run at an average of 60fps on high/ultra.

Paired well with my Gigabyte motherboard. Aesthetically I like it, not too much RGB and a simple design. Gave me decent frame rates with my Ryzen 2600. (140-160 on Fortnite on Epic with AA, shadows, and post processing off)

performs similarly with other RX580s.
- RGB, but not much, only on the GIGABYTE logo
- Factory OC of 1355 is higher than most of the other cards at the same price range.
- AORUS Graphics Engine is a turd software.
- already loud at >2000RPM (not sure if this is normal tbh).
- MINING RELATED: Gigabyte gimped this card and only has timings up to 1500.

Awesome graphics card for any gamer. Even works well with simulation. Would recommend.

This card takes everything I can throw at it and begs for more. I was pretty fond of my 560 4GB for punching above its weight, but this big card takes the fight to Nvidia. Sure, there are 6GB 1060s to get, or even 1070s to get a leg up, but I'd have to pay that leg for either card versus this one. This isn't an OC edition, but I don't even see the need to go extreme with this card, it can already overclock pretty well anyway. And I'm not paying upwards of $50 extra just for that feature.
If the RX 560 was a step into mid-high end gaming, then this 580 introduces you to the deep end of gaming. Anything past this is either really expensive for its performance gain, or ridiculously overpriced now. I'm looking at you, RX VEGA GPUs.

Great card for the value, especially now since GPU's are starting to stabilize. Don't expect to get much overclocking out of this card. Even pushing my chip beyond +50 MHz and the memory beyond +100 MHz caused graphical and stability issues. The fan stop feature is nice for quiet operation.

I don't think this is the best brand choice for a video card but it does it's job. Not many instructions out of the box but it is a solid card.

Really damn hot, and loud, considering this card is clocked lower than any others on the market is a bad sign

love and hate relationship...
love that it is fast enough for my needs, love that the fans don't spin when no load on gpu, love a black backplate and the RGB is subtle with just the logo lit up...
HATE that the fans are like tiny jet engines under load and above all HATE that the card blows hot air INSIDE the case! my case exhaust can be used to warm up food!
i'll try tweaking the card with wattman and see if undervolting or setting up fan profiles help.
UPDATE: Undervolted down to 1030 stable... GPU and MEM Clock run without dropping now so that;s a positive. Heat is the same if not 1 deg more and consumes more out of the plug... i don't understand anymore.
