The SU800 is an awesome SSD. Probably the best budget SSD out there. Affordable, reliable and fast.

While this SSD, ADATA SU800 1TB could be faster, it is extremely cheap and does it's job beyond belief. No more worrying to defrag or losing performance with HDDs. It's just fast, consistent and for 1TB and under 200.00 USD. It's amazing how far this technology has come and how the price has tanked. Windows boots in seconds instead of minutes, games just, boom, done. It's amazing, zero regret purchase, definitely want to get more. Screw that having only one or two games on a 128 or 250GB SSD.

Solid SSD for bootup and games. This will be leaving my build and going into the nephew's hand me down build. RIght now it's serving as a Windows 7 dual-boot drive.

Misreports its temperature as 10 celsius below actual, not like an SSD is likely to overheat, but it IS odd. FAST.

This is actually my biggest excitement about this build. Coming from a mech hard drive this ssd will make anyone happy as it boots windows in a blink of an eye and since i have all of my games loaded on here for now, loads my games very quickly as well. Very satisfied as at the time this was considered a budget ssd.

Samsung seems to get all the love here on PCPP, but I have always favored both Crucial and ADATA who don't seem to get any love or credit for their solid and affordable SDDs. Absolutely no issues, fast, and plenty of storage space now. Never a problem with this brand and this is no exception.
