People dislike the 970 because of the 3.5 gig+0.5 gig fiasco, but this card has been great. I'd probably go with it even today, that or make the jump up to a 980 Ti.

While it may not be the best card on the market, it's held out pretty well.

The Windforce 3X runs very quiet and cool and has been a overall good performer for the last couple of years. No complaints here, but I'm anxious to see AMDs Vega line-up.

Was decent for the price back in mid 2016(when I bought it) I would recommend it anymore though :( (get a 1060 instead)

An amazing graphics card with excellent cooling built in. You can run some very graphic intense games above 60 frames no problem with this beast.

Running like a beast. Nothing else to say about it.

I love this card. Stress tested it with high settings and 4x MSAA in Furmark and it never went past about 78C and the fans were very quiet.
Also, this card is a great overclocker. It's base clock is about 1.11GHz, but I'm running it at 1.5GHz with almost no increase in operating temps under load.

Beast of a card even with Pascal out. I bought this one before the 1000 series were announced, you'd be better off buying a 1060 since they are at the same price point and with very similar performance.

I literally don't have any complaints about this GPU. I play all my games in 1080p and expect not to have to turn down visual settings (except for frame eaters of course) I have the core clock running at 1450MHz and the Memory clock running at 4000MHz On the controversy of the 3.5Gb VRAM .... I really didn't experience the remaining 500mb being used even while playing demanding titles like Witcher 3, Fallout 4, and Farcry 4. While playing GTA5 and having my settings cranked I noticed about 3.7Gb of VRAM usage but not a significant frame drop or performance hit.
