Good custom cooling-solution. Much better than the reference-design. Right now it is the perfect combination of price and performance and also a good pick if you want to start VR-Gaming.

Don't buy if you play VR. There are driver issues with Navi that cause black flashing screens in VR if certain conditions are met(one being simply having a custom fan profile). I've tested multiple RX 5700s on multiple systems, with 2 different VR headsets, it's the drivers.

from completed build A PC that can hopefully play AAA games in Ultra
The card is super quiet and can game in 1080p easily. It is being let down by the drivers though.
e: After 3 months of use it is STILL being let down by the drivers.
e: Navi is ****, look the other way.

I had set a budget of around $350 for the GPU, my original choice was going to be the redragon 5700 but the sapphire pulse was $20 cheaper and there were barely any differences thermally and on performance... Temps are solid 38C to 40C depending on the temperature on Idle when fans are spinning, 58 to 66C while gaming and at a 100% usage. I did set up a fan curve which will be shown in the pics...
