Buying this when I did (late April/early May 2020), the card presented the best value around the £250 price mark. Using MSI Afterburner, I've been able to OC this to a stable core clock of 2085 and memory clock of 7175, which allows me to run all games at +75 FPS at 1440p. I'll likely upgrade this in a couple of years but works really well given my budget!

A fantastic entry-level GPU. Capable of running 1080p games at 120+ fps. Maintains high frames on demanding platforms such as CoD MW and other FPS's. Highly recommend.

This is where it gets interesting, I really wanted a AMD GPU and the 5700 OR "X" version was really appealing, but the horror stories of driver issues steered me to NVIDIA. Yes lots of people work fine without any problems but being an office PC the GPU stability was the most important factor for me.
I really wanted a 2060, but this was £80 more than the 1660 Super and the gigabyte had really good feedback and reviews so I plugged for this. No complaints as it's doing a sterling job and to be honest anything more would have been overkill for what i'll be using it for.

I honestly wanted to get an AMD GPU for this build, but I was steered away from them eventually due to a combination of driver issue horror stories and the fact that NVIDIA is simply the more recognised brand, and I want to sell this PC after all. The 1660 Super is a good combination of small size, low TDP and decent power. My personal PC runs a 1080 Ti, so I wasn't blown away, but for the price this will do nicely. In hindsight it may have been better to get a 1070, which can go used for similar prices and which packs a little bit more punch, albeit at a higher TDP.

Got this GPU for sale about $320 AUD. Works great under load. Amazing 1080p gamer, runs everything I throw at it with ultra high settings.

I absolutely adore this card, its the best thing since freaken toilet paper. Its quiet, powerful, sleek, and still has some room overhead to boost the factory oc more.

Mid-range card. I like the ability to set a fan curve on this model which includes 0% of fan speed. I didn't realize that some cards had a min fan speed of like 40% which doesn't go well with my design choice to minimize sounds.

The Gigabyte 1660 super 6GB is an excellent graphics card for it's price. It can run my games at high settings 90+ FPS! I can play GTA V at almost max graphics without ever going below 60 FPS. I play Forza Horizon 4 at max graphics at about 90 or more FPS!

from completed build First Gaming PC for VR
As of today, this is the best price for performance card you can get on the market so that's why I went with it. Also reading the comment from users about this card reassured me with that choice.
I use this mainly for VR and it tolerates those games very well on medium setting with high levels of render while using a oculus rift s.
I was able to overclock this 1660 Super GPU using MSI afterburner with Furmark 5200mb Donut for stress testing so now it sits solid at
GPU Clock: 1665 Mhz from 1530
Memory: 1957 Mhz from 1750
Boost: 1965 Mhz from 1830
with 3dMark Time spy for benchmarking at 6608 from 6023 (10% boost :D)
With this build my GPU is my bottleneck so I was very happy to eek this much more performance out of it.
