My previous dislike of Windows 10 updates is gone now thanks to this blog from NZXT showing how to turn them off = http://blog.nzxt.com/2015/11/4-easy-hacks-to-improve-windows-10-performance-on-your-pc/

MEH! It's and OS and is getting better always. But just like all OS's go once it is perfected they will move on and introduce another.

Everything loaded fine and then I had a very big initial scare due to the automatic updating. I was caught in the dreaded "automatic repair loop". Fortunately, I was able to follow on-screen instructions and everything righted itself (although it did take a while, over an hour). Since then, and touch wood, everything's been fine. Windows 10 itself - as an OS - is very nice. It takes some getting used to for someone who has used XP for years but that's to be expected.

Many people hate Windows 10 but I think it's going to be the future so why not go with it. I loved Windows 7 Ultimate but in the end you gotta go with the times. Windows 10 is the closest thing in a modern package. Should you copy this build or parts of it make sure that you get Windows on a USB flash drive since you don't have an optical drive. One of the issues I had when downloading the first drivers was that a ton of malware was downloaded with them. My trusty Kaspersky Antivirus took care of it promptly and the rest was fixed by quick google searches.
