Headphones not recognized by PC

I've had these razer headphones for a few months now and randomly they just stopped appearing on my volume tab (only shows my monitor speakers.) They're working as I plugged them into my laptop and they work fine. Any suggestions?

How do the headphones connect to your computer?

If they use an auxiliary plug, it's possible the motherboard connector is broken.

If they use USB, it could be a broken USB port on your motherboard or a driver issue.

You'll need to do some troubleshooting to find out where the connection is failing so you know what part is broken.
