My aim here was to build a mid range machine for my Gaming/Streaming needs. I wanted a solid 1080p Gaming/Streaming experience for myself and audience. I am not really in to overclocking and wouldn't really be doing it unless it was made very simple by supported software and was possible.

I want to be able to use Free-Sync and would get a compatible monitor up to 144hz.

Is there anything i have overlooked here that i would need to consider?

All help and feedback appreciated.

For streaming with quality as a focus you would want to move up to a 1700 at a minimum.

Keeping your black and white theme and NVidia cards support Freesync now over Display Port cables.

Yeah you would need a better CPU for 1080p 60fps streaming, but the original should handle a lot of games at 720p 30fps tho

It'll do 1080p@60fps you just have to sacrifice quality settings to do so.

Which giving the posters requirements dropping resolution or quality for the ever so slight savings isn't worth it.

what about upgrading to a 2700x?

Northonegamer submitter 1 point 6 days ago

How much of an upgrade is the CPU and GPU to what I had listed?

Many thanks.

CPU You lose 3% performance clock for clock but gains 33% more cores and the better RGB cooler.

GPU depends on title but overall runs you 15%+ more performance.

To be honest things could be cheaper but I wanted to keep the color theme as well as give you a larger SSD and enable better quality for streaming.

the rx 590 is just an overclocked version of the rx 580 with about a 10% difference, so not really worth getting a card without rgb that isn't colour neutral for that small difference.
