Water cooling intel SSDs

I was browsing EK when I found this block. When paired with a drive like this, would it provide any performance gains? I understand the SSDs themselves are overkill AF, and are made for enthusiasts/people who have so much money they don't know what to do with it, but is there any way to demand higher read/write speeds, similar to overclocking?

SSDs don’t get very hot, so it’d be overkill.

It’d be more for looks over functionality.

You might see a tiny gain but you can’t really force SSDs to run faster

Yes, they can get quite hot when in use.

Most people aren’t moving 200gb+ files for minutes straight.

Even then they only slightly thermal throttle (from your source) and it shouldn’t be much danger

Water cooling them is still overkill, a basic heatsink would be fine

Overkill is underrated!

I wouldn't think of it as a performance gain just a preventative measure against any possible performance loss from thermal throttling. Also that might be useful in a small form factor build where airflow was an issue.

What the hell would you need to cool a ssd for. Unless ur computer is inside lava something

Some NVME SSDs get rather hot if they don't have any type of heatsink.
