Buying a New PC (First Build)

I am buying a new pc and i have two candidates:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Hn6CsJ i5-7600k+1080ti

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FDZhnn i7-7700k+1080

The PC is for 2k/4k gaming and 3d simulations. I dont have any plan to OC for now so i just chose the k option because in Spain is the same price. Both configurations have 16 gb ram, 650 W, the z270-p and a 4k monitor. In Spain the price of a 2k monitor is 250$ for 24" and 320$ for 28" 4K, so for the long run i think this is a better investment. The price of both configurations in my country are around 1900$ so dont take into account the final prices of the builds, just the individual parts.

Thoughs:

-Which build will last longer without updating?

-Is the Cooler master 212 ok for now? ( if i need to OC i will change it?

-Do i really need a better mobo or the z270-p will do the job?

Thanks.
