Very nice build. Get two of those 2080TIs nvlinked, the improvement can be significant, especially with recurrent-type of networks. And it’s not like another 80-90$ will matter for this build. Hope you will have a productive time with it!

Intel i9-9820X? Jeez, I haven't seen those in forever :). Considered getting one myself, but I would probably get a Threadripper over them, as Threadrippers have more value.

Every AMD cpu has a super value over Intel's .. I was expecting a surprise from Intel 2020.. but eh.. same **** with price cuts :/ like they have no new tech to expose.. (Not a hater, I "was" Intel worshiper.)

Well, you're glad to hear that they apparently cut the Intel i9-9980XE from $2999 AUD to now ~$1560. That might have closed the gap, but I really don't know. I'm more leanient to AMD than Intel, as $1000AUD for 12 cores is ridiculous compared to AMD's $750 for 12 cores that has higher clok and boost clock rates

Plus the doubled cache size xD

And that too. AMD EPYC kills all Intel processors as well. Just saying. And now the AMD Ryzen 9 3950X has higher benchmarks than I'm pretty sure all Intel processors as well, only falling short to the AMD EPYC series (you literally cannot beat 64 cores and 128 threads unless some random lunatic (probably AMD) decides one day to put 128 cores and 256 threads in a processor which probably won't happen).
