So this is my computer Theseus, which I have been swapping in and out parts for years. I think I'm pretty much satisfied with where it is now, and don't plan on doing anything else with it (might swap in my 980 ti from another build if I upgrade that.)
Here's a list of things I have changed since the previous build:
-I've swapped out the i5-4570 for a Xeon because I wanted the hyperthreading for a few work things I might be doing on this comp.
-The cable management is redone so it's a little bit cleaner, though that's not super noticeable.
-Enermax fans have been swapped in because they look awesome in profile view. (Purely aesthetic. although I wish the text would match the heatsink. Currently the heatsink's text matches the SF600, but I can't do that for the fans without messing up the airflow by basically reversing it.)
-I bought an NZXT hue+ which has a little control box that is hidden in the gap between the front panel of the case and the psu. Currently only 3 of the 4 led strips are used, which is more than enough to wrap around the frame.
-I've also drilled a honeycomb pattern at the top right above the gpu, so I can mount a 120mm noctua right above it. The gpu was getting kind of toasty before, now it's not too bad. If I had a stronger hand drill I'd do enough holes for 2 fans, but I'm okay with what it has now. There's a silverstone dust filter at the top that makes the vent look neater (admittedly the holes aren't 100% evenly distributed.)
-The side panel is a piece of plexy glass that I've gotten from a hardware store which cost me about 20 bucks for several pieces. I have replacement panels in case this one gets super scratched up.
