Description

Super Computer is used for photo editing, video editing, stock trading, gaming, and just basic usage. Gaming computer is obviously used for gaming and that is about it. Streaming PC is used for daily usage and streaming. twitch.tv/F56JCW

The theme is Star Wars, I was inspired by the Razer Storm Trooper release.

Each PC was built about a month apart, Gaming PC was first and I just went off and wanted the best of the best in my opinion. Each PC was overclocked with ASUS auto tuning software, gaming PC (Ryzen 3600) the max I was able to push it to was 3.9 GHZ and I was happy with that. Super Computer (Ryzen 3900x) is overclocked to 4.1 GHZ and I know I can get more but it is super smooth as of right now and runs stable so I am going to leave it unless I need to up it. Streaming PC (Ryzen 2600x) is overclocked to 3.85 GHZ. The 2080 OC and 2060 OC are both overclocked by Asus GPU Tweak 2. The 1060 is left alone just because I don't need to mess with it.

Each PC has individual Blue Yeti's so no extra software is needed to stream etc... If I was going overkill I said might as well get each PC an individual mic. Single Astro headset for gaming and streaming pc because I run all sounds through OBS and have a single output for audio.

I am sure I forgetting some stuff but yeah, this is my setup!

Love this build! Would we be able to feature it on our website (WePC .com) as a featured setup? We'd give full credit, of course, and can link to your social media.

Let me know!

why exactly arent you using your Workstation PC as your Streaming PC ?

  • 0 points

Well I had enough parts to make a dedicated streaming pc all I needed was a cpu so I said why not just do it, only cost $200 and all the parts were spares from upgrading, plus just less stress on gaming or workstation.

  • 1 point

Also not all games require me to run on my workstation, it generates a lot more heat and my gaming PC handles 150-200fps in all the games I play usually except like Hitman, but no need to run the super PC if my dedicated gaming one can handle it just fine.

OK little brother - first off 10/10 over the top. You can see we have some similarities. love the colors and the hardware major diff is that the other half of mine is in my living room where I am reclining this very moment. OK breakdown- first what do you use the circle light for . mine has mag glass and I clean rare comics I can get by the phalanx symbol mics hanging all around * you do you* but why on earth take a group of righteous rigs screaming bad *** "death star" and cheapen it with the bobble heads ? other then that .you have one dope setup!!!

Circle light is for light when I am streaming it is right behind my camera. I also got the bobble heads because I personally think they look cool in the case. I was going to get the BAPE ones but they are a little expensive lol. Thank you man!

Spends nearly $10K on 3 computers, then says that a bobblehead is "a little expensive".

ACER KG241Q, they are great but I have one with a single dead pixel and one of them I received just went black so be careful when purchasing but they are really good looking.

How's the 3900X handling I'm going to be doing a new build soon and I was debating about sticking with AMD Ryzen or going over to Intel and getting a 9900K. I'm currently using a 2600X so honestly either would be a performance boost

  • 0 points

I really like it, the processing power is insane. It runs super hot tho, may eventually get a custom loop going but at idle my temps have ranged from 35-40C and max on 100% load was 76C. But that's how it is meant to be from what I have read online, they just run super hot, my Ryzen 3600 idles at 32C so I am not to worried. I have always been a AMD fan boy so I would say give them a shot!

  • 1 point

76C is a perfectly reasonable temperature. You have another 15 degrees to spare before you really start losing performance.

  • 1 point

Yeah that’s what I was reading but it still has yet to go past that full load so I am pretty stoked.

  • 1 point

First, WOW, that's a lot of computering. Second, it all looks amazing! Last, why not get a higher core count cpu and dedicate some cores for streaming/trading and the rest for gaming? My guess is cuz you could. That's my go to response.

  • 1 point

Haha thanks man! To be honest I haven't worked with anything else except Ryzen. I wanted to stick to something I knew and is upgradable. I was looking at the 3950x but based on what I have read, it will run extremely hot, hotter then the 3900x but some sources say they are rushing them and may be unstable and I just didn't want to have to deal with baggage it would come with. From reviews and all that I know the 3900x is great and I have bought the third batch released so I know they have worked out any small kinks within the cpu. If I ever need to I can just upgrade to the 3950x in a couple months.

  • 1 point

That makes sense. I will share with you my philosophy, never wait to upgrade because you have to do it because you want to. So if that 3950x looks good go for it. Unless you're short on cash after purchasing those bobble heads. ;)
