Description

My First 4K Gaming PC Build which was around $4k to build.

I was using Ryzen 2700X with Asus Strix 1080Ti for 3 years which it was Great but I wanted to try a 4K gaming PC when I have the chance!

If you do want to see this build, I have a Timelapse build on my small YouTube channel, feel free to go watch! No Ads.

Cool and all but I hope you're aware that you basically wasted 1300$ on the gpu for your use case.

Haha! Yes... I was lucky and got this card for the same price as RTX 2080Ti FE card. Also, comparing it to RTX 2080Ti, this does perform 15-20 fps higher which isnt that much difference but... I mean, what can I say? lol

Nice build! I'm actually about to rebuild my system in that same case after I mod the front & top panels.

I was just wondering can you possibly take of those 3 plates that say phanteks in the right side of youre pc and then put 3 fans there because i am thinking of doing that for my pc

Oh I do not think so... but I did see some build that modified that panel to mount a custom water loop through the back. But only issue is that there will be no airflow route to the back. other side only have room for cables and on the side is tempered glass. Everywhere is sealed except for the bottom shroud where PSU seats. I mean technically fans doing intake might work? (getting air from the bottom) but exhaust might be impossible... which there is no way for air to be out. Hope this helps! :D

I believe this might be the best build for entry 4K gaming pc.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XJ4Hhg

I went with Ryzen 5 3600 and RX 5700XT (Performance is par with RTX 2070 Super but cheaper) Alot of YouTube videos out there for 4k FPS testing which they are well above 50-60 fps in 4K resolution with high/max settings.

If you do want to go with RTX cards, you will have to pay at least $100 more. OR if you want Intel + RTX card, probably $200+

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

ohh yes! this will work perfectly as well! It was weird that my partpick list did not have i5-9600KF lol. I would also prefer to go with Intel if that is available! :D Nice combo!
