Description

Well this is my 2nd build for casual gaming but mostly net surfing and movie watching. I took some new parts from my 1st build (APU) which are Cabinet+SSD+CPU Cooler+PSU which are all 6 months old.

CPU: I got AMD FX4300 as it is Quad core and runs on 3.8 GHz on stock and will be overclocking it soon.

CPU Cooler: I needed it as i don't have AC and we have much humidity here and it helps overclocking.

Motherboard: This Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 ATX AM3+ motherboard is great gives you USB 3.0 at the back and over voltage protection. I need it as we have frequent power cuts in Monsoon as I am from India.

Memory: Well I got this for my first build as its 1600mhz but will be getting Corsair XMS 1600(2*4GB) for dual memory config.

Storage: Well Samsung SSDs are great I invested in it coz of its reliability and speed and quick OS booting as I hate booting time, and the Seagate 1TB is for Storage, I am thinking of getting one more 1TB. Lets see.

GPU: I know , I know Asus R7 250, yes its from ASUS and it runs my games with no lags or whatsoever, not a Gaming freak, but it works well.

Case: Got it for my 1st build but using it for newer build too. Its great cabinet. Gives you room for 8 fans and I already got two stock Cooler Master fans plus got one free with cabinet i.e Cooler Master Sickle flow green which I am using on cooler as Push Pull config.

PSU: Got it as I read very good reviews about it, as it gives reliability and protection against Indian Lighting system.

Thats it and I am a big fan of Cooler Master & ASUS so mostly their components. :) I will soon post 3DMark 11 Benchmark Results. And the Asus HD 5450 GPU in the pic is my backup GPU as for warranties they take long time so its a backup not a primary card.

Not to dump on your build, but "Powerhouse" is not an accurate description of this build.

Please read the description properly, I f I had such money hell I would have got Core i7 mate, it costs a lot here in India. So for me this is powerhouse. I was having an dual core Apu running on 2.7 Ghz. So now I see the difference and I just said this is powerhouse build. Don't get offended by the title. Its just a title.

Very good build looking at your circumstances it has eveything you need and think that's very good on its own, i'm thinking of making something similar but with a r7 360 +1
