Description

This build is an upgrade to my original first gaming PC with upgrades to be able to run games at 1440p, be able to stream, and also have some sort of aesthetic to it (although I could have done better).

Upgrade List:

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 @ 3.7ghz

-This CPU was already stock overclocked and I don't really care to overclock more since I'm mostly gaming and doing light streaming

GPU: GeForce GTX 1070 FE

-Got this for Christmas as a surprise and I didn't think I would have been able to get it given how expensive some GPUs are getting. Surprised me more when I found out how much it bought for. This GPU kills at 1440p gaming and holds 60fps which is all I really need

Case: BitFenix Nova ATX Mid-Tower Case

-This case isn't too great for cable management since it really can't fit PSU cables in the side panel. But it's better than my previous case which didn't have any sort of glass window at all.

PSU: Corsair CX750M 80+ Bronze Power Supply:

-This PSU runs a whole lot better than my old 430w power supply since it is a lot more quiet and also doesn't have ketchup-and-mustard cables along with being semi-modular. I got it used for a good price considering the person never actually took it out of the box.

Part Reviews

CPU

Great Budget Streaming CPU. Worth the money.

Motherboard

A great motherboard for the price but in hindsight I should've gone for a different one because of the red which fits my Christmas aesthetic but I would like it to be just black and green

Memory

It runs very fast and I would say it's a little overkill

Storage

Works fast enough for my needs and has a lot of space

Video Card

A 1440p beast and looks extremely nice

Case

Cable management is awful but it is good for the price.

Power Supply

Runs quietly and efficiently and suits my needs when it comes to upgradability for my other parts

Operating System

Ads and privacy issues aside, this is a good version of windows but I would rather have Windows 7 but I wanted something that was somewhat future-proof

Monitor

Amazing monitor for the price. Would recommend to anyone who would want to play 1440p on a budget

Keyboard

Love the RGB effects and the arm-rest.

Mouse

I actually had this mouse for a while and it works really well and is the right size and shape for my hand.
