Description

This is my first windows pc and the first computer I have ever built. I built it for solidworks, gaming, and plex. Everyone over hypes how difficult it is to make a full hard line water cooled pc, especially in a Micro ATX case. I am 17 and this was the first pc I have ever built, it wasn't that hard. If you want a hard line water cooled build but you are intimidated just go for it its not hard if you are at all competent. It runs overwatch and destiny 2 (the only games I really play currently) flawlessly on maxed out settings. I know its over kill and I know I don't need that much CPU or GPU but I did it anyways. The build went very well and I am extremely pleased with how it turned out. No problems except for the GPU clearance with the side panel, but it does not bother me. Ask any questions you have, I am happy to answer them.

Wow. For a first build you stand a good chance of getting featured. Outstanding work, 10/10.

Very nice build! Great job on the hard lines, and yes it's a little overkill but that's half the fun. If you want a more secure option for the side panel, you could always get some nylon spacers and run longer thumbscrews. That way it would have all four mounting points, as well as a slightly better look from the top.

I have thought about that, but i have decided not to because I don't like the look when the side panel is spaced off of the front, and because i look at the front while working and gaming more than I look at the top I would like a different solution. Thanks for the positive feedback!

How is this your first build!? My first pc looked like a hot mess of ketchup and mustard cables slapped into a cheap case. Incredible job on the build though, the color scheme looks nice and the setup looks very clean.

It took a lot of planning then re planning and re planning again, nothing really went exactly to plan but that is half of the fun! Thank you for comment!

EK-CryoFuel Solid Azure Blue. I love it! I just need to install a uv light to really make it pop

That's... incredibly impressive, a waterloop for a first build is quite the undertaking.

How uhh, how on Earth did you afford all this as a teenager?

Thank you! It was hard but mostly just time consuming not too difficult. Hard work and saving money for a long time. Also my parents get my siblings and I laptops for college that are around $600 so they have me that money and it made a small dent.

This is literally tight. clearance is close. Great Work!

Yes is is tight! It took me probably close to 45 minutes to get the 24 pin plugged in behind the pump and jumble of tubes. But its exactly what I wanted so its worth it now!

Damn that's a sick build. Just one small thing: maby put a led strip at the top and or in the back. The lighting right now seems a bit too much in the front only.

I absolutely agree, I’d like a UV light strip. The second picture shows what it looms like with a UV light and I like the look.
