Description

I built this computer a few weeks ago for my dad. He has been using a 2015 Macbook Pro for Photoshop/Illustrator at home and his eyesight isn't too great so he wanted to be able to do it on a bigger screen, so I told him that I could build him a custom PC and that he would be waaaaaaay better then his Macbook. He was impressed by my computer that I built for myself so he decided to go for it. Also he wanted a custom desk so he made this one out of some old wood he had lying around.

Reasons for parts:

CPU: Photoshop and illustrator aren't too hard to run but, I wanted to make sure he would be able to use his computer for a while, Also the 1600 is cheaper and better performing then the i5-7600k for tasks like this so it was a no brainer.

CPU Cooler: Wasn't overclocking that much and the wraith is fine for now.

Ram: Wanted something stable and 16 gigabytes.

Storage: Decently fast SSD for boot and main programs, Hard Drive for everything else.

GPU: He wanted to be able to do some gaming but nothing like 4k ultra 144hz so this will do for now, especially at 1080p

Case: Tempered Glass. Check. PSU Cover. Check. Good Fan Mounting Options. Check. Under $100. Check. Sold.

Powersupply: A little overkill, but it should last him for a while.

Monitors: He wanted something atleast 27 inches (even considered ultrawide for a while) 1080p or higher and for a good price, so this is what he got.

Keyboard: I told him about how amazing mechanical keyboards were and he decided to get one. This one is RGB also, which is cool.

Mouse: He was interested in the wireless capability's of this mouse and I was curious about it also, so he decided to get it.

I like the look of the desk/table. Is it a standing desk?

It could be, but he also got a chair that can go up high enough to sit too.

Yeah playing at 1080p on this build is pretty easy, but 1440p or 4k is a little to much for the 1050ti.
