I built this rig in preparation for college, since I knew I wasn't going to have a ton of space in the room of my apartment. I had originally planned to have a PNY XLR8 OC GTX 980, but then the GTX 980 Ti was released. So, I waited for the non-reference GTX 980 Ti's to come out, and picked up an EVGA GTX 980 Ti SC+.
I mainly use this computer for gaming, but since I'm going to study Computer Engineering, I will also use it for coding and possibly rendering.
I don't really know what else to put... I had a blast making this computer, and I love using it.
Edit: I added some extra pictures to get a better look at the build itself... because people asked!
You might notice the little cable kraken I have in the front of the case. Don't worry, it doesn't affect airflow in any significant way.
If you're wondering why I only have my CPU at stock clocks, it is because my apartment has an energy usage cap, so I reverted to stock clocks from my 4.7GHz overclock to conserve energy.
2016 Edit: No, I do not plan to upgrade to a 1080/1070 (or whatever comes after)
