Description

Based on Tom's Hardware's Little Monster, but with a different motherboard, different case, and different SSD. The build went well with one exception: I was hoping to put the radiator on top but it was about .5 in too long. Instead, I had to mount it in the front and move the front fans to be top-mounted exhaust fans.

Sweet build +1

Just curious what you use this system for, and how does it perform when gaming? I'm looking at building a similar PC and was just curious how it runs games.

This is mostly a gaming machine and it will also be used for streaming. I tried it out earlier today and it handled things very well. WOW runs with almost all settings maxxed at about 60-70 fps. Given what I came from, I'm very pleased with the performance.

That's just the front view of the standard MasterCase 5 Pro top cover. It came in the box!

I guess they slipstreamed a design change in. I have to say I'm very pleased with how nice it looks and I really wasn't thinking about that very much; I just wanted cool and quiet!

Buddy!! Great build! Please let me know how that cryorig a80 is holding up. Any issues at all with it? I think it is one of the best cooling AIOs. What are your temps?

Looking to get this for my 8700k/1080ti build.

thanks!

I am not a guru of CPU architectures, but the price was good and the PassMark benchmarks were excellent. And this CPU was what the Little Monster used, which was judged the best $2000 gaming PC in the most recent competition on Tom's Hardware.
