Description

This is probably my fourth or fifth system build and by far the best. Didn’t mean for this one to end up being such a Corsair fan boy sort of build but all there stuff just worked so perfectly together. The whole thing is completely overkill because basically i'm just gonna play WoW on it... but i was gifted the core of the system from a family member switching to console lol so new case, new cooler, and a stack RGB fans and it was reborn. I just hope all parts inside other than the CPU can forgive me for turning the inside of the case into an oven with that massive rad on that hot *** CPU as the only intake, but with the openness of this case design and running the exhaust fans pretty heavy the whole system actually stays quite cool.

I need to add more storage i know but there's no way i'm about to dress in cables for a HDD in the back, so its M.2 from now on, they are just damn expensive.

Came for for the cooler, came over the cable management. That is right on a spiritual level. Well done. Also, I wish my brother would spend 2k on computer parts and just gift it to me lol.

I second, that, that is exceptional cable management IMHO. Cool to see you used a push-pull configuration for the front rad. Also, those RGB fans are sweet. Cheers and well done.

Yeah. NVME are crazy expensive, but you can just get m.2 ssds for storage. Speed loss isn't noticeable for games and a middle ground price wise between HDD and NVME.

Yeah i still have one free m.2 slot open so that's where ill put some middle of the road storage that's got high capacity, honestly right now i'm pretty set just with the one 970 i have in there.

why did you go i7 7800x and x299 over 8700k and z370/z390

I did not actually buy all the core parts of the system, so it was not my choice, i would never have spent that kinda money haha
The mobo, cpu, and gpu, were all purchased by my brother thinking he was going to be doing all kinds of stuff with the system. Turns out he's really not as into the whole computer thing as he thought, so he just up and gave me all the **** lol

How tight of a fit was it with two 140mm on the top and the AIO cooler? Same case just have a 240mm AIO looking to upgrade. Nice build +1 for sure.
