This was my first ever computer build. Graduated from college and asked my mom for the money to put together a rig that will allow me to game for the next several years. This was the third case I tried. Started out with the Corsair Carbide 400c . Was a great case but wanted something with a window. Went to the Thermaltake View 27. While the case looked great the 4 fans were unbearably loud even when the rpm was decreased. This final Phanteks case is a great fit and looks amazing. 2 downsides are that the exhaust fan block the main led on the motherboard and the motherboard board is a tight fit in the case. Other than those two issues the build was a breeze and I couldn't be happier.

Nice build you have there. Solid parts list. Those tempered glass cases make the difference. Enjoy your gaming. Oh, congratulations graduating from college!

Congrats man. Clean build and I also like having my leds set on purple to go with the white components.

Does that case come with the white shroud or did you paint it yourself? I plan on painting mine white to go along with the theme. +1

The case OP has listed is different from the one they actually used. Here is the one used in the build https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/Q9vZxr/phanteks-eclipse-p400s-tempered-glass-atx-mid-tower-case-ph-ec416pstg_bw

Hope this helped.

Came with the white chassis. Had to get it to match my graphics card! It's a great case. Motherboard fits tightly, and the MSI Gaming Pro logo is blocked by my out-take fan but those are my only complaints. Lots of room and flexibility. My next move is to get a single radiator liquid cooler in place of one of my out -take fans and base ryzen CPU cooler. In the long term I'm going to get a 1440p monitor to get full use of my 1070 for Destiny 2 : )
