Description

Attempted my first build last month, experienced a lot of crashes in the first couple of weeks mostly due to improper seating of the GPU and then trying ai overclock in (do not recommend) but after all said and done the computer works absolutely amazingly and I'm getting well over 100 fps on anything I throw at it including brand new titles like Anthem.

The CPU is overclocked to 5.1 GHz but for some reason the system keeps dropping it back down to stock.

Just a question why do you have a zotac gpu box in picture three, but a msi rtx gpu.

Because I used the wrong picture of the parts haha. That was my budget card I decided not to cheap out on.

Looks very nice! Only two things - first, how do you like the 9700k? I was debating between it, the 8700k, and the 2700X for my build (went with the 2700X), and I'm curious how it performs, especially for high-refresh rate gaming. The other thing is that both the radiator and rear fan are set to intake; I can't tell what the top fan is because of the angle, but if you're going to set the radiator to intake through the front, then you should flip the back fan so that it and the top fan are both exhaust. Just a suggestion though. Nice build! +1

Question, Is that a power connector that isn't plugged into the GPU? If so is that the way it's supposed to be setup? I see that the one furthest to the write has both power connectors inserted but the one to the left of it does not, only has the one connector.
