When I built my first PC roughly 4 months ago, I had intended to make very slight changes and modifications to it but never would I have thought that a full upgrade was right around the corner. What can I say, I'm terrible with my finances. Anyways, I just wrapped up building my new machine and I'm very pleased with how it turned out. Runs cool and quite with respectable performance which is something my old build was struggling with (cool and quite).
In the very near future Ill be looking to pick up a 1440p ultra wide to complement the 1080 Ti. Other than that, I think this build will stay mostly untouched. I was thinking about swapping out the mother board for the Gigabyte GA-Z270X-Gaming 7 and getting a nvme boot drive but I'm going to try to hold off on that. *try
The only trouble with this build was cable management. The Corsair Crystal 460x is less than fun to cable manage. The issue is that there is very little clearance between the motherboard tray and the side panel. Cable runs have to be well planned and tied down unless you want to force the back panel on by siting on it. Other than that c'est bon.
Yup, It's a CPU and it works
It works 10/10
Nice but not so nice to build in
