Description

Oof...

This has taken me 6 years to build a computer that actually suites my needs. Gaming and streaming. As a 14 year old, it isn't easy to make money. The only time that I really get any is occasionally allowance and birthday/Christmas. This was originally a Cyberpower PC but I upgraded the proceser and Mobo plus I got an SSD so its much better. Yes. I am finally happy with my build. I'll pick up another stick of RAM and a better GPU hopefully by the end of 2019

Part Reviews

CPU

Holy crap this thing is a beast. 8c/16t this thing annihilates gaming and streaming at 1080p 60fps. I don't know any better processor for the money.

Motherboard

Got this and the Ryzen 7 2700x at microcenter for about $345 bucks which was a great deal. I like the style. Not a huge fan of the light strip by the IO shield but looks decent. 5 stars for getting the job done like a champ though. EDIT: lol I'm dumb. I didn't realize I could change the color of the light strip and add effects. This is an absolute AMAZING motherboard!

Memory

Amazing speed and performance!

Storage

For $29.99, you can't go wrong. There isn't any cables in the box though, which would've been helpful. Now that I recall, there is literally NOTHING other than the SSD in the box. Not bad though.

Storage

It's pretty good. It works well and gets the job done but is slower than I anticipated.

Video Card

Oof. Don't get me started. Had some seriously terrible overheating problems with this back in the summer. Pain in the butt. I got it sorted out eventually. 4gb pretty slim but not terrible.

Case

Hardly ANY airflow in the front. Had to take off the front of the case to prevent total system failure due to flaming components. Jeez man if you can fit 3 fans in the front, also include PLENTY of vents for air to actually, well, you know, GET IN THE CASE.

Power Supply

Hasn't exploded yet. 15/10

Monitor

Lol got this before I realized what Hertz were xD . Works fine, though I do wish it had an adjustable base, but it's cool.

Keyboard

I LOVE THIS THING!!! feels great and I have had no problems with it. Would definitely recommend.

Mouse

You don't need me to tell you about this. There are entire articles on this mouse.

Headphones

Ooooooh baby these things are sweet. I love the fake surround sound (idk what actually surround sound sounds like so these are fine). The mic is pretty good though I'll stick with the blue yeti for streaming. 10/10 must have.

Nice, now you just need a 144hz monitor (get the Asus VG248QE for $160 on Black Friday), another stick of ram (get the exact same stick for compatibility assureness) and a new graphics card in time, all in that order. Congrats bro. Also no shame in the plugs lol

Are the temperatures are good with the stock cooler? I'm planning to build a streaming/editing pc and i don't know if the stock cooler would be enough for the processor

I apologise for being so late! Temperatures are great with the stock cooler. A high quality cooler itself too! I'll get back to you soon with the exact temps!

Nice looking build.

One thing to make this even better: Get a 2x4GB or 2x8GB RAM kit, since RAM runs much faster in dual-channel, and get the RAM kit clocked at 3000MHz at least, since Ryzen performs much better with higher memory frequencies.

Did you use a splitter to connect all these fans to the motherboard?

Your GPU sucks. It's a 580 4gb! That is an equivalent to a 1060 3gb. For $300, I don't know what you're doing, bud. You should be getting a 1080 for that price on the used market.

It came with the cyberpowerpc prebuilt back in 2017 so thats how much the gpu was back then

That was back when crypto currency sky rocketed GPU prices. I remember the 4gb was $50 more expensive then the 8gb lol. Crazy times.

-_- You think I'm not aware of that? Plus this is my own build do I don't care what I put on it. Also if it weren't for my twitch and YouTube I wouldnt have made this build.
