PC specs CPU - i5-6400 @2.70GHz Memory - 8GB DDR3-1600MHz - upgraded with another ram stick GPU - GT 720 2GB - replaced with a GTX 1650 4GB Storage - 3.5" 2TB HDD - installed a 1TB 2.5" SSD which was then made the boot drive
I've had this prebuilt computer (Acer Aspire TC-710) for a few years now. It's always been kinda slow, and only gets like 20fps on the lowest settings on the lowest resolution, due to the gt-720 graphics card.
I did some research to try and find out how to upgrade my PC. I found the youtube channel Tech Deals, who had videos on upgrading a computer quite similar to mine.
So I bought an 8GB DDR3-1600MHz ram stick, a 1650GB MINI-ITX graphics card, a 1TB 2.5" SSD and a 92mm case fan. I could have upgraded the PSU and have gotten a 1660Ti gpu though, but I plan to build a proper PC soon anyway. I also could have used a 1060 gpu, but I had already bought the 1650, and someone in the comments said they had issues with that. I got the Samsung SSD as only their custom cloning software worked, as the PC does not allow partitions to be created outside Windows.
After the upgrade, I get 70fps on Very High in Rainbow Six Siege, and boot times are 20 seconds instead of a couple of minutes. Also Rust used to take 20 to 30 minutes to load into a server, so hopefully it's a lot less than that the next time I play ;)

pretty good, all that I needed to double the RAM on my prebuilt.
great SSD, cloned Windows and my files onto it from a HDD. I could have got a cheaper SSD though, however only Samsung's cloning software would work on my prebuilt.
great GPU, I get 70fps on siege on Very High at 1080p also good how I didn't need any power cables as it gets its power straight from the PCIe slot, and didn't have to replace by 300w PSU.
good fan for the price, although makes a bit of noise. However it comes with a cable extension that limits the max RPM, so I might put that in. Should give my prebuilt more airflow, which didn't have any case fans before.
