Nice looking, what did you mount the case with?

  • 1 point

I used 2 L brackets for the weight and bottom and small corner brackets to hold it flush and secure to the wall! costing me like 20 bucks! Oh and Toggle bolts!! Bad pics but close up of mounts!! http://i.imgur.com/rVxmCLJ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/RN0dmGH.jpg

when did you build this build?

Feb. 20, 2017

Due to the fact that I was on back order for the Deepcool Genome ROG Edition Case since November. Had all the parts in October. Then got my case in January and it was all damaged so i had to wait for another one that I got Feb 19! Sorry for long response. But it was a crazy situation!

They get the job done i like 5.1! But they take some tuning and tweaking to get great sound out of them

Very well done! With that much cooling do you have an O.C. on that 8370? How is the 480 holding up pushing 3 monitors?

  • 2 points

Yes I do! Very stable a 4.5GHz with low 30's idle and 59 full load! And the 480 is pushing these monitors with no problems ! at least 60fps on almost all new games!

That is impressive. I wasn't aware that the 480 was that capable. The O.C. is nice too.

any particular reason why you went with the 8370 rather than intel or ryzen?

I am a AMD Fan boy so..... And as stated below Ryzen wasn't out yet!

Side note I am Building one right now with Ryzen 7 1800x And Just ordered the Asus RX 580

the rx 580 is identical to the rx 480 with only 1-3% performance difference in games why the 580

Really great build! really great pictures! 1+! WHY did you choose the fx8370??? why didnt you swap the AMD A10-7870K with an intel cpu???

I can admit I'm a fan boy of AMD. And was waiting on Ryzen, so this was a cheaper option ! (Not Really) LOL

but now you are stuck with ddr3 and pcie.2 that was... not really intelligent.

It's really not that hard to switch out a motherboard, memory, and the things attached to the motherboard. And seeing how much this guy spent on this awesome build that I doubt that switching out these things will be a problem.

but he wont be able to use his memory anymore if he upgrades and he cant switch his parts for higher end parts since this is he best of this platform

I do not back Gamester's response. But to say it was not intelligent was a little rude, Lyrix. You do not know what the PC is being used for so this purchase could of been smart or dumb. And sometimes people just want to buy AMD because they are looked at as the underdog.

Question: Why did you opt for a 480 when all of your other components were more high end?
