Description

This PC works great for gaming. At the moment I get around or a little under 300 fps on Rainbow Six Seige with max graphics. The same thing goes for CS:GO I get around 300 fps. I am aware that the Ram is too fast for the motherboard I wasn't aware of this when I bought it I will fix this issue eventually.

Part Reviews

CPU

This CPU is amazing I'm very happy with this purchase. Easy to install and works like a dream.

CPU Cooler

GREAT WATER COOLER!!!! Very easy to install and kept my Ryzen 9 3900x well under 50 c on max load. Could not recommend more. If this is your first water cooler/ aoi that you have installed the manual makes it very easy.

Video Card

INSANE GRAPHICS CARD!!! I can run max graphics and all the titles I play. The fans don't even run if I play for a few hours such a great card. Very happy with my purchase.

Well that’s a very nice build you got there. However I’m confused why you spent so much on a top notch CPU and graphics card, but then went for a b450 mid range mobo. It doesn’t exactly fit in with the price point of the rest of the build, but if it was because of budget constraints then I do understand.

Yeah i didnt know a lot about PC builds when i purchased the motherboard im going to upgrade it in the future even thought thats not really something that people do

I mean typically people upgrade their motherboards alongside their cpu, but your cpu is already very beefed out so you only need to upgrade your motherboard.

Yeah i will definitely upgrade my motherboard to a high-end one may be put in thread ripper when i have the money i might also have to get a new water cooler than too. I will probs just upgrade my motherboard but i did some testing last night and i still have good tests and outputs even though im only using a b540 mb.

I would wait until (or if) the new threadrippers come out and upgrade the board alongside it, but your cpu should not be a priority for you, considering it is arguably the best on the market in some areas.

also have you seen the 1660 super XD

Yeah, it’s basically a slightly undervolted 1660 Ti. I think nvidia just wants to milk the mid-range market so they can be competitive with the rx 570-580. They also manufactured a 1650 Ti, which may make more sense.

You can set the ram XMP to 3466. you're still running it at 2133 if you haven't manually set it yet. I'm almost offended you used a b450 for this build! :)

Awesome build! I'm building a really entry level gaming PC and have ordered just about every part but need to wait to buy some sort of monitor and windows 10 home 64 bit which just alone cost $140, mainly because not sure if I want to buy an OEM key. But congrats

Why what is the problem exactly with your motherboard? have you problems with?

the only thing that is wrong is that it does support the high speeds of some of my equipment when you build a high-end pc you need to get a high-end motherboard to support the speed of everything, for example, my dd4 - 3600 ram only goes to dd4 - 3566 speed because that I the max speed my motherboard can handle.

The MSI website writes that DD4-3466 is supported. How did you get it to support DDR-3600? Does the MB kick it down to 3466?

Yeah, so when I built this pc I didn't know much I'm currently upgrading my motherboard to an x570 anyways to answer your question the motherboard once you download the proper software as anyone would when you build a new computer. It will automatically slow the ram down to the max speed that your motherboard can run meaning my ram is underclocked so I have great temps I guess.
