I know very little about custom loops, but I'm trying to figure out how this works from a cooling perspective and would love to get a bit of an explainer so I can try to understand.

Starting at the reservoir, the coolant flows down into the radiator to get cooled, then heats up as it goes through the GPUs, then heats up more as it goes through the CPU, then gets cooled through a radiator, then goes into the motherboard and then out to the reservoir again.

My question is, wouldn't it make more sense to run the coolant through a radiator after the GPU loops, and before the CPU?

So it would be: Reservoir > Radiator > GPU > Radiator > CPU > Mobo > Reservoir

Just curious, not meant as an attack (I hate that the combative nature of Internet commenting forces me to clarify this).

Outstanding build man! Would love to see some benchmarks on the graphical performance on those 290's at 4k. I do sort of wonder why you went with the 290x over the 390x however, seems like 8gb of vram would be exactly what you'd look for in a 4k build.

Nice overkill build, but I have a few questions. What is the fan configuration, why only a 5820k, and why an Msi x99s

I give you serious credit, this is one of the sickest builds I've seen on pc part picker. However the question remains; with all of that power, what is this pc's bottle neck? Not to say that the computer is sluggish in any aspect or bottle necked majorly in any category, it is extremely well balanced as far as I can tell. I'm asking just for speculations sake and personal curiosity. Every pc has one part that is just a little bit behind the rest no matter how well balanced, but by balancing it good you make it so that the one part doesn't interfere by dragging any other part down in performance with it. So what is that one part?

Do you have a diagram for your watercooling setup? It looks like it goes Reservoir > Lower Radiator > VGA 1 > VGA 2 > CPU > Top Radiator > Chipset > Reservoir.

Are the pumps down below before or after the bottom radiator?

That bottom plate between the psu and the motherboard just really set this build in the right direction. Many other things as well. BUt that is something that really stood out to me, great work.
