Description

Build to play current games at 1440p max settings and also to do some programming.

Initially built with a ASUS ROG Strix GeForce® GTX 1070 and recently upgraded to a EVGA GEFORCE RTX2080.

I highly recommend this case. I'm happy with the final result.

Still missing the NZXT Hue+ to enable fan lights.

Hey.

This is pretty much what I'm looking to build atm, except with a Gigabyte 2080, different case, Thermaltake CPU cooling and no aftermarket fans. Any ideas if I've made a mistake with those choices?

basic gigabyte cards are flimsier than the aorus counterparts, so I'd recommend an aorus card if you're set on gigabyte as your gpu manufacturer.

Thanks for the reply. I've only done a couple of builds before. Both used Gigabyte gpus, but I'm not stuck on them. It's just hard to know if going with a different manufacturer would be an improvement?

performance wise probably not, evga has the best warranties, out of all the brands, but unless you plan on breaking your card in two pieces I'd say any brand will do, but some have far better customer service than others
