Description

Finished upgrade a little after christmas because the cpu cooler didnt arrive.

WARNING: BAD PHOTOS. Will get better ones

Whats new:

Cpu Cooler

Gpu

New Maglev fans.

New Silverstone filters. Outstanding quality

What went right:

Cpu cooler got installed (eventually)

Gpu upgrade went smoothly without issue

Fans got installed

What went wrong:

When i was installing the cpu cooler, the cpu came out with the old cpu cooler. Did a stupid and ripped it out, bending cpu pins. Fixed it though thanks to internet.

Top rear 140mm fan wouldnt fit, had to buy a new 120mm.

Cable management in case went to crap (my fault)

Good experience for me, had fun (except for the cpu, scared the crap out of me)

Part Reviews

CPU Cooler

Beautiful! Great add to any build. The installation was easy, fan is nice and quiet (i have it set to silent mode in bios)

Video Card

Its silence and preformance is very good

Case Fan

Best fan type, hands down. Maglev is the way to go

Case Fan

Moves hella air at low to no noise

I knew Cooler Master was doing a Blacked out version of the Hyper 212 EVO, and even one with a Red Fan. But this RGB Edition I hadn't seen yet.

Interesting Rig. Thanks for Sharing

I used to get about 70 max playing games, and with the cooler i get about ~60. I got it because It's quiter and looks nicer.

Id say go to the asus prime b450 mobo, it's cheaper, and the gpu can be controlled via asus aura. Id check the fans rgb on the case, to see if it is able to connect to asus aura. Having your rgb all on one program makes it much easier to make it all match, and more simpiler to set up

Hey, are there any clearance issues with the gskill Ram? Did you have to scoot the fan on the hyper 212 up?

No, but the plastic clips on the fan push the fan forward enough so you cannot put a stick in the first slot. This problem is only on the rgb edition, because the black edition comes with metal clips that make the fan hug the tower cooler.

Since both fans on rgb and black version are the same width, depth, and height, you can maybe get coolermaster to send over metal clips and have no problem
