So I built this system to test the Pentium G4560 and see if it lived up to the hype as a good budget option for modern day gaming (testing still in progress FYI).
I created a build video on my YT channel that you guys can check out if you want. The benchmark video should follow shortly.
As for the other parts I chose...
The motherboard was provided to me by ASUS, it's got a lot of nice features for a B250 chipset board (all 4-pin fan headers, PCI-E M.2 slot, USB 3.1, Intel Gigabit LAN, two USB 3.0 headers, on-board RGB LEDs) but it is super overkill for this build I have to admit.
The RAM was provided to me by HyperX, I actually have a 2x8GB kit running at 2666MHz but will only be running a single stick for this build. Also I listed the 2400MHz version in my parts list because buying anything higher is a waste.
Used an SSD to keep the system snappy, holds the OS and about 6 games so far.
Used the RX 470 to shoot for 1080p, 60fps performance. Hopefully we should hit that fairly easily in the games I'll be testing.
The BitFenix case was used because it's what I had lying around, thought it'd work quite well considering it cost around $50.
The be quiet! Power Zone PSU was also an extra part I had lying around.
Annnnnnd I think that's about it, let me know what you think!
:EDIT: Benchmarks are up people! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdFZ9tCFjG8
