Description

Hi guys! Done my first build and im really happy with it. Intially went for the s340 matte black but base from searching in google and youtube i decided to go with the matte white. White really helped with the lights and I didnt need too add some led lights and yeah the cryorig h5 universal is also white. Also added some 3d printed covers for the cable and io shields.

I will try to overclock to 4.5Ghz at maybe around 1.3v? Hope that goes well and will update you guys. Hope you all like my build. cheers!

What monitor are you using?

  • 1 point

It looks like it's either the Acer Predator XB271HU bmiprz or the Acer Predator XB241H bmipr. My guess it's the Acer Predator XB241H bmipr from looking at the scale of the keyboard & mouse pad.

yeah your're right its the xb271hu.

Im using the acer predator xb271hu. Initally the feet of the monitor stand was color red, I just spray painted it black to go with the black white theme.

due we almost have the exact same build!!!!!! how do you like those corsair case fans? Also, did you have to buy a fan hub, cuz I might have to do the same. Last, I'd like to know where you got your white cables

  • 1 point

The fans are seriously bright man! But I wish they have a control for the brightness or even an on/off switch for the lights. But over all I still like it.

Yeah I did get a fan hub. I think we dont need it but just for the purpose of making it a clean build.

For the cables Im using the SilverStone extension cables, got that just at a local pc store.

Really clean build, one of my favs..., I planned to pull the trigger on the same case, but the prices shot up several weeks ago...going to have to wait until they come back down. Actually, going to have to wait until after Christmas, cause I still have a few more gifts to buy. Great job!

Personally I think a 1070 HOF would've fit better here, but that's just me nitpicking. Great build overall, looks amazing!

Nice build man, so cleannnnn...curious how did you load OS with no optical drive space in case? Plugged into MOBO, loaded and then removed? (first time builder here)

  • 1 point

Thanks! You can use a usb thumb drive to install your os. Check the link from Microsoft on the steps to install Windows 10. Hope this helps you.

Damn, thats a beautiful looking build. I'd like to build something similar to that. How do you like the case fans?

Awesome build man totally loved it +1 for the White NZXT theme..

Ok, this may sound like a stupid question for those who have been building for a while. But I just built my first PC you can see it on my account. When I built it, I downloaded windows and all my BIOS and updates through the disc using the motherboards disc that came with it for the updates and the windows disk. How do you go about doing that with these cases that don't have drives? I was interested in this case for my next build so I was wondering.

in a previous comment he said he used a thumb drive. you could also buy an external optical drive for like $10

Perfect

6 fans were bought for this build, where are the other two?

  • 1 point

where did you put the controller and the fan hubs?

  • 1 point

I would have put in a deepcool captain 240 ex white AIO water cooler. Would be SOOOOO much better than the fan cooler. Great build overall though. +1

Could probably tidy it up by removing the SSD mounts and by making cable spacers more even!

Hey man clean setup! I use the same power supply and noticed the chords you are using are not the stock ones with the dumb mesh jacket. I've heard some braided chords don't work with the psu, which ones did you use?
