Description

Used for Gaming and general PC stuff! Its kinda of my second build, as had a whole host of parts in a Corsair 240 but pretty much sent those parts back and upgraded.

Ring fans look great! What kind of speeds are you getting fro the Ultra II SSD?

Thanks, not sure about the speeds from the drive. "upgraded" from a 240GB Crucial BX100 so I doubt I'll notice any speed difference

Great looking build. I've just done similar with the silver version of the Lian Li V359, but air cooled with a Noctua NH-D14.

Just wondering if you had any issues with the riing rgb fans forgetting their settings after a reboot? If I leave the fans on the default colour-cycle mode, they will be in that mode next time I start the PC. If I set them to any other mode (ie. solid red), next time I boot, the fans spin up, but the LED's don't come on. Can't seem to figure out the issue. My MB is also an Asus Gene VIII, and I'm plugging the fan controller into one of the 4-pin chassis fan headers.

I've not had any issues with the riing fans, they say on the red as I want. I haven't tried any of the other modes so I probably should have got the red riing ones but figured I might want to change things around at some point and with the RGB ones I can choose whatever colour scheme. I can't remember exactly but I'm pretty sure I have the fan controller plugged directly onto the mobo on a sys fan header. I think I read somewhere or saw something on youtube where someone had an issue with it not remembering the setting but fortunately I haven't had any issues yet.

Do you know which fan header you plugged into by any chance? I'd have thought all chassis fan headers will behave the same though...

I'll have a look when I get home tonight.

I have it plugged into the sys chassis header 2. The one closest to the 24 Pin PSU plug on the mobo.
